Created in 1956 in Hendaye, the campsite Txoko Les 2 Jumeaux*** is located in the heart of the famous Basque Country. Since its beginnings, it has distinguished itself by a very warm atmosphere and a privileged geographical location, 5 minutes on foot from the magnificent beach of Hendaye and 5 minutes by car from Spain.
Txoko literally means “little warm place “ in Basque. We are indeed the smallest campsite in the Basque Country! Perpetuating the family tradition, we welcome you with joy for an authentic stay in an exceptional land. Passionate about our wonderful region, nestled between the waves of the Atlantic and the Pyrenean mountains, we will be your best allies in discovering it and meeting its inhabitants.

Who are the two twins
of the campsite?
No, these are not the managers, but real emblems of the region. The two twins are actually two huge pink limestone rocks located in Hendaye, facing the cove of the same name. Unrelentingly resisting the ocean waves, they fascinate a great number of photographers. If it is certain today that it is erosion that detached them from the cliff, it was long believed that they were the work of the knight Roland, throwing rocks to try to break the ramparts of Bayonne.
No doubt you will be seduced by these geological stars too!
